Installation of water supply systems may be in the form of hand pumps on motor driven pump. During the borehole construction stage the borehole design is accordingly adjusted to suite the type of pump to be installed to ensure the best performance of these wells.

Both hand pumps and motor driven pumps can be installed but this is predetermined by the design of the borehole.
